This car owner brought in his vehicle for a new water pump. He gave the tech specific instructions to “not mess up his creation.” Well…here’s what he found (yes, that’s cardboard in the engine bay).
Three technicians told the owner of this 1999 Nissan Sentra that the sound coming her engine was the timing chain tensioner. See the impellers? Nope. The 4th technician took a look at the water pump and found the issue.
You’d probably think this water pump spent some time in the ocean and acquired some barnacles. Nope, it’s just 5 years old and wasn’t well maintained.
The owner of this vehicle must have thought the water pump was only there for decoration.
The owner of this F-150 said that his truck misfires when taking on ramps. This was the fuel pump module the tech took off the car. Any guess as to what could be wrong?
This is what happens when people who don’t know what they’re doing try to replace fuel pumps. We don’t know whether to say “whoops” or just give a giant facepalm.
